Spianata is a traditional Italian salami seasoned with salt, pepper and red chillis, then pressed to give it its unique shape (Spaniata means flattened in Italian). Spaniata has a fine texture, unique aroma and spicy flavour. Serve sliced and added to pasta dishes, used as a pizza topping, or on a charcuterie platter. Piquant- pungent or sharp in taste or flavor.
